Hi everyone.  My name's Seth and I'm a post-bacc Physics major from the University of Central Arkansas.  I’m very proud to be a part of CCEFP’s work this summer and for my part, I’m excited to be working on pneumatic strain energy accumulators at Vanderbilt University.

I plan to pursue a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering so in light of my more theoretical background, I hope to learn a lot from this experience.

In my spare time, I like running, cooking, and studying foreign languages.

Looking forward to meeting everyone soon.

Hello from Clayton

I am pumped to have the chance to be part of this experience and get to know everybody. I have just completed my sophomore year at Montana State University in the great town of Bozeman, Montana. Im pursuing a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace. My hope is to be in the aerospace industry right out of college. I hope to take the knowledge from this opportunity and apply it to an aerospace field.

In my free time I love to go camping and explore the small hidden town within Montana. However, my biggest hobbies would have to be woodworking and making some delicious calzones!

I can't wait to get started and meet all you.

Hello from Alek

I am excited to be here and suppose I should tell you a bit about myself. I have just completed my sophomore year at St. John's University in Minnesota, and will be majoring in Physics and Mathematics. I plan to continue on to graduate school for either a Masters or PhD in mechanical engineering. Coming from a more theoretical science background, I am excited to begin applying what I've learned to real world applications.

I enjoy spending time with my friends and being outdoors on our beautiful campus. I also enjoy cooking (well, attempting to cook), snowmobiling, and getting out on the lake whenever I can!

Look forward to meeting you all!

Alek

Hello from Aaron

Hello Everyone,
Excited to be here.  I've always had a strong interest in biomechanics, and helping to work on an fluid powered ankle foot orthosis this summer should prove to be an exciting, rewarding adventure.  I am a mechanical engineering student at Montana State University -- originally from NY, but found myself in Montana by way of IL & OR.

Aside from attempting to figure out the way objects around me function, tinkering with these objects and building objects anew, I enjoy any activity outside (hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, etc.)  However, most recently I have become obsessed with skating & playing as much hockey as the winter will allow.

I look forward to starting on this project and meeting all my cohorts.
