I can’t say that I have a new awareness of fluid power applications
around me, per se, but I do have a new appreciation for the technology when I
see it, openly. This experience has
given me some small familiarity with fluid power at large, so I’m not
intimidated when, for instance, I have to choose a particular valve setup for my
research project. I have the bootcamp to
thank for that! I do think often of the applications
for my particular project, and how my project might relate toward other
research interests, concerning energy, economics, and so on.
